Founder and Principal
Dennis has been providing clients and their families with trusted investment advice and personal financial planning for many years. A strategic thinker with deep financial advisory experience, Dennis Morton has developed trusted relationships that span generations of client families. With a strong foundation in research and analysis as well as deep investment and economic knowledge, he is constitutionally committed to maintaining a long-range perspective, determining a reliable course and aligning operations to meet objectives.
Before launching Morton Brown Family Wealth, he worked for ten years at Corbenic Partners where he was a partner and served on the firm’s investment committee. Earlier, he was a financial advisor at Citi Smith Barney. He earned both his Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations and holds a life, health, disability insurance license.
Dennis earned a B.A. in History at Loyola University, Maryland. After graduation, he served as a captain in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dennis is a proud husband and father and is active in local and regional community organizations including Rotary International and the Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America for which he serves on the executive board. He is chair of the Investment Committee and serves on the Finance Council for the Diocese of Allentown and is a past recipient of Lehigh Valley Business’ “Forty Under Forty” award. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys playing guitar, running, and hiking with his family.
